the state of some red traditional phone boxes had been bugging me of late . i even said to my missus if we lived in a nice village and had one i would make a point of keeping it in pristine bright red condition . in another what was an unseemingly unrelated occurance that leonard cohen song halleluah sung this time by alexandra burke i thought i heard my surname MANIFOLD in the lyrics. i checked the lyrics online and was mistaken...... after years of being on the fence with believing i went into the liverpool anglican cathedral for the second time in my life ,the only other time was for a chris de burgh concert but it was a straight in sit down and back out again affair .... anyway this time there was a young school girl practicing her solo for an up and coming carol concert singing halleluha and thought i heard my surname again.......further into my visit, in one of the corners of the cathedral i got the shock of my life and was surprised to see a traditional bright red telephone box, in a cathedral of all places .....turns out the designer of the phone box and the anglican catherdal are the same man . sir giles gilbert scott..........a red phone box , hearing my surname in a song , and i'm not making this up ...i've never bought a bible in my life...and had it in my noggin to go and buy my own ...and after watching the film the book of eli with denzil washington in i decided on the king james version .i opened up the 1st page OF THE INTRODUCTION to read great and MANIFOLD were the blessings........a nice welcome home my son me thinks. this is just some of my story ....i'm not trying to convert anyone....i'm not even saying christianity is the best religion in the universe. i personally respect all faiths.....but my daily walk is of a dual duty path of native american spirituality and christianity. the thing is god will bring home the worthy and true...in whatever faith path suits you....if islam suits you then thats what what will speak to , if buhdism suits you then a buhdist you will be....if you were meant for a higher calling you will be sent down a few paths to pick up the best bits and see we are all one (UN NE GA WA YA). and be called to service of god and humanity....you can still be married single hetero gay celibate.....if you have been through a few trials of life yourself you are in a far better position to advise others....just like our great master and brother of the light jesus he studied with a few other religions..hebrew, hindu egyptian (read the aquarian gospels if you don't believe me )it gives you a totally different perspective. and its a lot easier with the internet now .....whatever you feel comfertable with that makes you happy and peaceful....enjoy it and don't force it on others....when they see how happy you are ....they may even come and ask whats your secret. shalom namaste....and blessings to you all ...A-MEN OR AUM-EN
