Paradosis

by Adam Olson - 9/25/19 12:00 PM
the greek word "paradosis" which translates to english as "tradition" is the only word in the new testament that adds up to 666, as mentioned in Revelation chapter 13. tradition is never painted in a positive light in the new testament either, so it's interesting to assume there is a relationship between the mark of the beast and tradition.

consider the tradition of dissing the Beast, where God's # is 7, the number 666 indicates gross short-comings... if you follow your train of thought, you have to wonder why God would look down on his creation instead of lifting "him" up...

"παράδοσις" (paradosis) being a New Testament Greek word with a gematria value of 666 is a very interesting fact. But how did you find out that this is the only word in the NT with this value? Did you find a list of all NT words and their gematria values somewhere? Did you create such a list yourself? I remember that back around 1977 a fellow named Del Washburn wrote a book about NT gematria called "Theomatics." Maybe he created such a list? I'd like to know your source, so I can see it too.

However, I think it may turn out that English gematria is actually more important than Greek gematria, when it comes to the prophecy and riddle about 666:
666 = The king of all people
The beast = 521 = The king of all men

I have partially answered my own question in my previous comment. There is an inexpensive book called "Complete Vocabulary Guide to the Greek New Testament" available at Amazon and other places. It even contains a list of all the NT words arranged in order of frequency of use. But I'd still like to know if there is some place online where I can see such a list, including the gematria value of each word.

After doing a little more online research, I found that there is another noun in the Greek New Testament that adds up to 666: "euporia", (Strong's number 2142). It only occurs once, in Acts 19:25. It means "wealth" or "prosperity". And that reminds me of "business" being the most frequently used word in English with a value of 666, for it is generally by engaging in business that people become wealthy. And of course, we all know Solomon received 666 talents of gold in one year.

I also keep seeing references to "Lateinos" spelled in Greek letters adding up to 666. But I get the impression that this is not a real Greek word, but just a transliteration of Latin letters into Greek. Anyway, you can most easily verify this word plus "euporia" and "paradosis" as having sums of 666 by choosing Greek Beta Code in the drop-down menu of the calculator.

But I'm still not sure whether there might be some Greek verbs, adjectives, or adverbs, etc., in the NT that have values of 666. The sources I found just claimed that "paradosis" and "euporia" are the only Greek nouns in the NT having a value of 666.

Oh said, "Judd how bout abba only word in bible that adds up to 6." That's interesting if true (I assume you are talking about English translations.) But again, how do you know it is true? Anyway, if you look up the Bible verses where "abba" occurs, I guess they show that there is nothing bad about 6.

I remember force fitting SY EI MIA to Greek gematria back in the 80's. I regarded it as a joke--a dismissive commentary to all the ridiculous force fitting of famous names going on behind the tradition of "the Beast world tyrant nonsense.

But anything that fits the model of corrupt contentious and arrogant Jewish teachers in ancient Judaism, is exactly what antichrists are to the church. (2Pe2:1--tit for tat)

ευπορια (5 + 400 + 80 + 70 + 100 +10 + 1) = 666
παράδοσις (80 + 1 + 100 + 1 + 4 + 70 + 200 + 10 + 200)= 666
As already stated in this thread, and I agree. It bears witness to the Pharisees of Christianity being the antichrists of John Paul and Peter.

Those who follow them are the "5 foolish virgins" who bought the spiritual rubbish they sold, and will be destroyed with the brightness of His coming along with their teachers when they are locked out of the kingdom--the deceiver and deceived sons of destruction (2Th2:3-12).

The false teachers today, who like lucifer, love the seat of the congregation, love mammon, nullify God's word with their own convenient traditions, love to be seen of men and have the best seats in the synagogues, who are blind leading the blind, who produce sons 2x what they themselves are, who are full of arrogance and envy/hate even to the point of murdering God's innocent faithful who expose them--(Jesus/Stephen).

That can be anything from your seminary trained smiling protestant minister in your comfy country church to the glamour of the Catholic Pope. And that fits John's description of "many antichrists" in 1Jn 2:18, and Paul's man of lawlessness.

It was the original exodus of apostate Gnostics who didn't believe Jesus came in evil flesh who taught they had inner Gnosis of their own deity. That signaled the last times were beginning. The AD66 judgment of Israel--the 1/3 of mankind, Shem (the 7th seal and 6 trumpets) ending with the final judgment of the entire world (6 vials), which is the span of the Great Tribulation. The final trumpet and final vial is the resurrection of the church and the fire judgment upon the air.

There is no "THE antichrist" prophesied to come. That is myth evolving through the gospel age, taking ever more detailed form, just as the myth of Messiah coming to Israel as a conquering immortal warrior king subjecting the goyim to the Law was to the Jews of ancient Israel.

I've seen the same thing happen with HG Wells' alien over the space of a century, fiction evolving fiction until it becomes a shapeshifting lizard alien hybrid human who is the demonic son of Satan ruling the New World Order earth in human form, planting everyone with a 666 DNA altering RFID chip that trades the possibility of the Holy Spirit inhabiting human form for physical immortality in the likeness of angelic hybrid form. Fantasy. That's where these lies have gone to.

Antichrist is more deceptive than that, just as the serpent was the most subtle beast of the field. He's right under your noses, right in the midst of your congregations, and you don't know it because you are too stupid and arrogant to recognize his futurist/preterist tradition for what it is--his redirecting of your attention away from himself. The Pope's Jesuits propagated the traditions of futurism and Preterism to redirect the accusation of antichrist away from himself during the protestant reformation. Catch a clue here for crying out loud.

So "go ahead." BUY IT, you foolish virgins. "Make my day" Dirty Harry's 44 magnum revolver of great white throne Justice is pointed at your 666 marked foreheads, planted firmly with the παράδοσις of the peddlers of ευπορια (2Co2:17). Even now, God is laughing at you as you arrogantly assert your own way. (Ps37:13)

Listen I died my name is nathan. It means gift of god. Everyone has lied to us. I can prove it. God allowed us to believe we were dying for 2000 years until he gave me the truth a week ago. We have been reincarnated for 2000 years in this hell until now. I can stop aging. For real. If u part of the 144000 I should say that he promised 2000 years ago

Yes we have taught our children the wrong tradition. We’ve taught them the tradition of the lie. The lie god allowed to live here for 2000 years. The numbers in bible r true just everything is a lie and opposite. He is going to remove negative energy from our atmosphere

Constantine the Great is the 666 individual. Image for the beast is the Babylonian cross of Tammuz, worship of the beast is the Babylonian practices of Lent, Easter, and Christmas, Mark of the Beast is Sunday Sabbath. Follow Constantine 666 on Facebook for more proof.

I’ve been looking into this. Also note, ????????? (paradosis) is mentioned 13 times in the New Testament.
We read in 1 John 2:18 that there are many antichrists (“????” “???????”) even now, meaning there are many things “in the place of (anti)” “the Anointed One (christos)” before *the* antichrist (???????????), or the adversary of the Messiah, comes.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 substituting tradition for the word of God on the hand and forhead identifies the false prophet of Te13 and 2Pe2:1-2.
