Sexual dreams

I have gone through a lot of Christian dream sites and no one can answer my question about sexual dreams. The secular viewpoints aren't very helpful and most of the time they are incorrect about the interpretation. Why do we get sexual dreams? I try to live a godly life and am loyal to my spouse and have never cheated on him nor do I entertain sexual images from movies or from the internet. I try to keep away from anything that may pollute my mind (Phillipians 4:8). But I do get a lot of sexual dreams with people (men and women) that I don't know in the physical world and unfortunately, there are times I do know the individual. Why would I get these dreams and how can I prevent them from coming back?

A sexual dream with someone you know can be symbolic of love for that person. If it's with someone you don't know then it may just be an outlet for a conscious or unconscious desire. Pray for clarity and deliverance if these dreams are really troubling you.

Sexual dreams are not always what they appear to be...sexual, but they represent an "intimacy" with someone. If it's someone you know, perhaps a woman, it's because maybe you shared something private with her and through this you became "close". When you have dreams like this (and by the way many people have these kind of dreams even Christians)it can also mean that the Lord is showing you something that you have become intimate with other than Him, or that maybe He is asking you to be more intimate with Him.
Sexual dreams are some of the hardest to interpret because they are more personal to the dreamer. Some are from the Lord and some are not, but the dreamer is the one that needs to seek God on their understanding as most of them are about intimacy with Him and problems that lie within the dreamer and their relationship with the Lord. Sometimes they can be physical and represent problems within the marriage, even problems being emotionally intimate with your mate.
Ask Him to help you to understand these dreams and where might lie the problem.

Depending on how sexual you are speaking...it can be a demon spririt. I have had them try to "attack" in the night watch hours. You just rebuke them with the Word, plead the blood of Jesus, if that is what it seems to be.

After listening to John Paul Jackson - the washing away dreams, I noticed something interesting. I work with a homosexual and when I come in contact with her one on one - I end up having homosexual dreams. Whatever is latched onto her, latches onto me and I believe that God is purifying my mind and body through the dream world because even in my dreams I find the act repulsive and atonished that I am even dreaming it. I don't have those dreams again until I come in contact with this co-worker. I do alot of cleansing of the mind and spirit on a regular basis even in the dream world.

That very well could be the problem, when we are in a close work or living area with people we sometimes pick up unwanted things from them (especially if we have very sensitive spirits). I have developed a prayer that I would say everyday on the way to work and it really helped me a lot in warding off spiritual attacks. This is it...I claim the Blood of Jesus over me and the Whole Armor of God upon me, no weapon form against me shall prosper, for I am a child of God, a daughter of the King, and I have been made righteous through the Blood of Jesus.
Try this and see if you have less of a problem with these attacks.
Prepare yourself and protect yourself, 2 most important things to remember as you walk through this life. We are constantly bombarded with spiritual attacks and most of the time we are unaware of it until it shows up in our dreams.

That's devil god does not sleep with people in the dream.you have to pray hard to destroy that spirit.devil is looking for christians to destroy. Pls pray don't give the devil a ride.pray god will show you the truth.demons can look like man they are called spiritual husdand in dreams.pray you will see the truth & also pray about your church cause some churches can give you probles like this. I'm talking from experiance.god bless yu.

I UNDERSTAND WHAT U FEEL . AT FRIST I DIDNT UNDERSTAND, BUT GOD IS A GENTLEMAN.HE WILL NEVER SHOW U PRIVITE PARTS IN YOUR DREAM. HE WANTS US TO PRAY TO UNDERSTAND. HE TRYING TO GET US TO SEEK, SEARCH, GET CLOSER TO HIM SO WE CAN REALLY GET TO KNOW HIM.OUR WAYS ARE NOT HIS WAYS. JUST REMEMBER BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD. pRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING, KEEP PRAYING.

Pray & fast because some of these spirits can be removed by fasting & praying.the worst thing that will happen if yu don't pray is that spirit will destroy your relationship don't intertain this spirit.there is a gift in you that the enermy wants to destroy.may the lord set you free.

When you deny who and what you really are, you are in fact disconnecting yourself from God. When this happens your desires take over and God turns you over to your sinful nature. He never wants you to hide from yourself but embrace it. When you are true with yourself , you can be true with God.

there are 131 traits of the flesh(sinful nature)in the bible that you can not blame the devil for. To these the bible has no other solution but death by crucifying the flesh. this victory can be achieved by a continous submission of ones soul to your spirit man. Filling your mind with the Word of God and endevering to do it will prepare your thoughts to recieve clean dreams. God is holy and he will use holiness to attract you to his purposes and fulfil your desires

i had a Sex dream with other co worker and she was wearing yellow colour dress and myself lifting her kissing her and taking her to bed room and having intercourse with her and i could see others with slimier face also even they also having intercourse also. can u enplane me

This post is old, but I was reading these comments because I needed help myself.
I dreamt that I was having sex with a brother from my church who is getting married.
but I know exactly why.. and now I know that having continual sexual dreams are not natural.
first of all, I really like this brother but a thought whispered (its the devil) saying that he loves me and does not want to be the women he is with..
but I BURIED the thought in my heart and I DID NOT REBUKE IT.
I went on with my day as usual, the problem is,I agreed to a lie that he enemy told me..

THIS IS HOW YOU WILL OVERCOME:
-confess to Jesus your hidden desires
-confess the lies you believe
-renew your mind in the word of God ( the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they mighty trough God to the pulling down of strongholds-Bible)
-depend on God to even show up in your dreams and fight for you
-pray before you sleep or wake up in the middle of the night and call upon Him!!

How could you answer this seeker in such a way, leaving them still in darkness. We are a light for the world, what happened? If you have no answer seek God's his face and listen to Holy Spirit speak, he will lead us into all truth.
Thanks be to God for using Sarai, one who has been delivered from the sin nature regarding these types of dreams and I glorify God for using her testimony with tools for deliverance. Amen.
Deliverance is needed from the sin nature and yes, repentance and conversion are needed. One and not the other, many repent(confess sins), but are not convert(change how one lives and activities not right).

Please read up on Incubus and Succubus two evil spirits that torment you with sexual engagement in your dreams. If you are saved by the Blood of Christ then you have authority to cast them out in Jesus name! Repent of any unforgiveness toward anyone and ask for forgiveness for any sin committed by you to anyone and declare out loud to these spirits in the name of Jesus to be cast out of you and go back to the pit of hell. Never to return. Then declare the word of God over yourself, His blessing such as pease, joy, harmony restful sleep. Do this with any tormenting spirit. It always works for me.

Whoever you’re having sex with is a spirit (no a good one) forging a covenant with you to give him power in your life/seeking that you agree with whatever evil he wants to bring in your life. I had a dream about one of my coworkers (a woman) and it was very sexual. I used to think I was attracted to woman, but still liked men as well. But i was delivered from that and the thought hasn't really crossed my mind until recently. The dream made me question my sexuality again and if I desire to be with woman more then men or is it a friendly infatuation I have with the females I work with.
It's somewhat clear to me now that its the enemy trying to attack me. Giving me dreams about my co worker who I love and respect.
My question is;
1. Where does that put me with god?
2. Am I a sinner?
3. Is having a very sexual dream about my female co worker a message from God?
What does it all mean?

Jesus walked everywhere amongst people, but didn’t battle every evil spirit, unless it manifested or confronted Him through people. Likewise, tormenting dreams is how the Holy Spirit allows evil spirits to the surface, so once you wake up from these vile disgusting dreams, command everything unholy to get out of your temple in Jesus Christ name. Remember over time, they often come back to see where your walk with Jesus is, strong or weak. However it gets easier to recognize their cravings.
