H.-P. Blavatsky interprets it by means of the Greek letters, as "the animation of the earth by the spirit of life".
According to Cyprien, 365 is a sacred number.

General
The Jewish Torah made correspond the 365 negative precepts of the Law of Moses to the 365 days in the year, and also to the 365 veins in the human body.
It is the number of terrestrial days in the solar year, 365.242 precisely, plus one day every four years (leap year). It is interesting to notice that the length of a side of the Great Pyramid is 365,2425 cubits, corresponding to 365 days 1/4 of the solar year.
The 365 days of the Peruvian and Egyptian calendar, divided in twelve months and thirty days plus five additional at the end of the year. The months form three seasons: flood, winter and Summer.
Orpheus, in his theology, admitted 360 geniuses governing the first 360 days of the year: the last 5 days were devoted to Osiris, Apollon, Isis, Typhon and Venus.
One of the two Maya calendars, called solar calendar, for the civil year (haab) has eighteen months of twenty days plus one month complementary of five days, giving 365 days. The other calendar, called religious calendar, comprises 260 days. The number of years necessary before is repeated a same date or a same juxtaposition of the combination of these two Maya calendars is 374440 years.
The ancient Perse taught that the creation of the world had lasted six days and comprised six distinct periods. The first had been used for the training of the sky and had lasted 45 days; the second to the training of the water and had lasted 60 days; the third to the training of the earth and had lasted 75 days; the fourth, a duration of 30 days, the vegetable had been created; the creation of animals, for the fifth day, a 80 duration days; and that of the man the sixth day, long of 75 days. These six days formed thus a complete cycle of 365 days.

Three hundred sixty-five angels are involved in the creation of the body of Adam, where each one works on a member, according to the "Book of Secrets of John", text of the library of Nag Hammadi.
At the beginning of the Christian era, some heretical believed that the end of the world would take place in the year 365, this number being in fact equal to the sum of the following numbers:
- 300, figured by the Greek letter T, tau, sign of the cross;
- 18, numerical value of the first two letters of the name of Jesus in Greek, IHSOYS, Iota-Eta: 10 + 8;
- 31, the number of years that the Christ would have lived according to them;
- and 16, the year of the reign of Tiber in which Jesus was crucified.
The Breton wants that there are 365 islands in the gulf of the Morbihan.
The number of points of a deck of cards is equal to the number of days of the year, 365, and the number of cards, to the weeks, 52.
Gematria
The numerical value of the ABRASAX of gnostics is 365 according to the Greek evaluation system: A=1, B=2, R=100, A=1, S=200, A=1, X=60, the total giving 365. ABRASAX was the Archonte reigning on the 365 skies which defended the access of the Ogdoade.
In the 2nd and 3rd century of our era, there was a diffusion of the mazdean cult of Mithra, cult where the solar symbolism was related to the concept of the "Sun of Justice" and often assimilated to Jesus-Christ. And the gnostics noticed that the numerical value of the word Mithra written in Greek gives 365:

For Egyptians, the Nile was a god of the year because the regularity of its risings corresponds to the regular course of the years. And the numerical value of the word Nile in Greek, Neilos, is equal to the number of days in one year, 365:

The biblical Greek expression "Aguion Onoma", that is to say "Holy Name", has as numerical value 365:

Occurrence
The number 365 is used only once time in the Bible.
The sum of the occurrences of all numbers of the Bible multiples of 6 and written in their cardinal form gives 365.
The Bible of Jerusalem contains 364 different numbers ranging between 1 and 200 millions. But if we add the "ten thousand times ten thousand" (Dn 7,10) as being an additional number equal to 100000000, then we obtain a the total of 365 different numbers. Among these 365 numbers, 305 are found only in the Old Testament, 53 are both in the Old testament and the New Testament, and 7 are used only in the New Testament.
