Symbolism

General

• In the recitation of the rosary, the prayer of the Ave Maria is repeated 53 times. Moreover, the prayer of the Pater is told 17 times in the Rosary, this one being composed of three rosaries. And 53 is the 17th prime number (counting the number one).

• The September 19, 1846, the Virgin Mary appeared to Salette in France, at two children, Melanie and Maximin, who received secrets to be revealed only in 1858. Melanie has been learned that Lucifer, with a multitude of demons, would be loosened of the hell in 1864, that they would destroy the faith, that Rome would lose the faith and would become the seat of the Antichrist. And 53 years after 1864, that is to say after the release of Lucifer and a multitude of demons, the Virgin Mary appears for the first time on May 13, 1917 in Fatima to three young shepherds revealing to them a secret divided in three parts of which two only were revealed in the whole world. In her messages, Mary speaks about the red Dragon of Russia which she asks the consecration to her Immaculate Heart. Otherwise, Russia will spread its errors through the world, causing wars and the persecution of the Church.

• In the ceremony of the mass, the prayer of the "gloria Patri" (in Latin) has 34 letters and the prayer which answers it, "sicut erat", has 53 letters.

• The Jews did not read any more the chapter 53 of Isaiah. Formerly, indeed, this passage was precisely called "the bad conscience of synagogues". Isaiah announced that Israel would reject the Messiah that it waited (Is 53,1-3), because this one would not be covered of the royal splendor, "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth;", "And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken." (Is 53,7-8).

• According to W. Keller, in his book "La Bible arrachée aux sables" (The Bible extracted from the sands), we read: "Babylon was not only the capital businesses but also a religious metropolis. An inscription reveals that there had 53 temples devoted to the great gods, 55 chapels of Marduk, 300 chapels for the divinities of the earth, 600 for those of the sky, 180 altars for the Ishtar goddess, 180 for the gods Nergal and Adad, and 12 for others divinities". That makes a total of 1380.

• The First World War lasted 53 month, from June 28, 1914 with the attack to Sarajero, until Austria proclaims the republic and its return to Germany, November 11, 1918.

• The Africa has 53 countries, independent for the majority since the Sixties.

Occurrence

• The cardinal number 7 is used 53 times in the Revelation.

• Among the 365 different numbers found in the Bible, 53 only are used both in the OT and the NT.

• In the Bible, 5 numbers are multiple of 53: 212, 318, 530, 2067 and 5300. And the sum of their respective occurrence also gives 5.

• The term "I am" is mentioned 53 times in the Gospel of saint John whose 3 times it is found in the words pronounced by John the Baptist and 50 other times in those of Jesus. The word Pastor is used 53 times in the OT and the word rescuer word, 53 times in the Bible.

• The three synoptic Gospels contain in all 53 mentions of cure stories by the word or the hands of Christ: 18 in Matthew, 17 in Mark and 18 in Luke. 24 times it is specified that these cures concerned the demonic, or although the ills were delivered of the impure spirits.

• The sum of the occurrences of all numbers of the New Testament equal or higher than 666 gives 53.

• The Bible of Jerusalem has in the Old Testament 18 books called "Prophetic Books" starting from Isaiah and ending with Malachi. These 18 books has on the whole 53 different numbers written in their cardinal form.

• The word "perfect" is used 53 times in the NRSV.

Since early 90s the number 53 had been appearing quite often in my everyday life. My drving license number got 53 in it. Lots of time when i check my watch the mins is 53. My index number for an exam was mu530. I bought a padlock with number locking system and 53 was part of the code. Its going on until now and getting more and more often. Can someone tell if there’s anything connected to this.

I find the same numbers,53, 153.it is the Number of big catch in the Bible.Check book of John at the End when Jesus Meets the Desciples.Teaches the how to Catch Multitudes of men. 53 on trucks, means that it is a 53-foot-long trailer. If you see 100 numbers, you will see and notice 53 once, on the average. You have to use the 1 with 53, to really grasp its significance. Our Sacred Number, is 153. You would just have to know who we are, to even begin to understand that.

Today is May 21 2011 It was supposed to be the end of the world apparently, I just got a text message from the number "53"..the message wrote "53" I went to email this link to my grandmother on my email account and came to realize I have 666 emails in my inbox, it may have not been the end of the world but today meant something..the beggining of the end is what I get from it all.

I've been dealing with this number for a while and I think it's god letting us know we are were we are not lost and in his favor we are all trying to make things better here when I see it I feel I'm not alone you're all probably genuinely good people and that's the sign for us to stay good and strong in a crazy world so when I don't see it I'm more worried

53; 153: will not leave me alone. 10 years ago 43 was doing the same thing. I figured out it in a 52 card deck sum of the cards making 53-54-55 would be two jokers/jesters and a rule card.

Sg—when Jesus disciples, fisherman by trade, were with Jesus after a night of catching NO fish, he told them to let their nets on the right side. Their haul was so great, 153 fish, that they had to get help in hauling the fish in.

I was born on the 53rd day of the year and lived at number 53 Sorrel Drive up until the age of 10, during which I had frequent encounters with malevolent shadow beings. Since then I've seen the number 53 numerous times almost every day of my life. I have researched this through numerology terms and it appears to be a signifier of change, creation and realism. Take from that what you will, but personally, whenever I see it, I call it the 'Fiddy Tree'; rooted in the earth/reality, growing upwards/ascending and always evolving/changing with the seasons. I always try to just give a little mental acknowledgement when it appears and it is nice to know that I'm not alone in seeing it.

I am 15 and i always see the number 53 in trailers, these past days ive been having death dreams, ever since my daddy passed away i keep having nightmares and i have a cousin that used to tell me that my twin sister and i have something unsual. Ive dreamed bout death n someone in my dads family dies. A week before my dad passed away i kept thinking he was gona pass away. Ive seen the number 53 for some months now. I am afraid im bad luck to my family. And not only in 18 wheelers sometimes on other daily things i see.

I looked up the meaning on the number and it said that the angel number 53 means that positive life changes are about to occur. You said that you started seeing 53 after your dad died? Well it could mean to stay strong beacuse things will get better.

I was shown signs that I would be the messiah when I was 53, June 27 2014. Buut then in 1993/4 I headed a four man team of roofing leadworkers laying 140 tonne of sheet lead to the lower roof slopes of the Dome of the Rock Jerusalem, and then I had one of those God experiences. I was able to tell my father that he would win the football pools the next week and a friend of my sister's called after not being in contact for 8 years, because she dreamt that I woke. just two examples of the many many impossible events at that time.
However, 'God' showed me that something would shift on the solstice this year, and f all happened so, back to normal...lol

19 years following bs signs, God is some kind of a joker.

Well, this is more than 2 years since the comment I am replying to. I turned 53 today and wondered how I can think of this year as special. At 52, for example, I was playing with a full deck. I am just replying here because I wanted to be sure that you know what would qualify you to be in the Rapture. It won't have anything to do with numerology or anything that we are privy to because the scripture says that Christ Himself doesn't even know the day nor the hour of His return. If you believe that Jesus died and rose again, you are a believer and you will be in the Rapture.

53 has followed me for a long time. It started when my partners aunt told him he would see 53 a lot (she was kind of odd before she passed) he would see the number a lot then told me about it and then I started seeing it, turns out the house I was born in was 53, then we moved to a house that was also 53. I see it on signs, buses, even a bottle of wine called bin 53 was bought for me as a gift by a friend that didn't know.

I feel like whenever I start noticing 53 again it's when there is a crossroads in my life to perhaps tell us to pay attention at something that is going to happen. That's my thoughts anyway. Still figuring it out, could just be coincidence :)

There is no such thing as coincidence but synchronization. 53,when you see it pay attention to what is going on at the time!! Your angels are surrounding you and is trying to help you through something /life dont be afraid to talk to them they are there to help!!!
