Symbolism

• This number corresponds to the Hebraic letter phe, in form of hung lamp, and to the seventeenth Arcane of the Tarot, the Star, which is represented generally with eight branches.

Bible

• The Revelation of John speaks about the great hailstones weighing near 80 pounds which fell from the sky on the people. (Rv 16,21)

• The prophet Daniel was 80 years old at the time of the banquet given by Belshazzar, where he had to interpret the prophecy written on the wall of the royal palace. (Dn 5,1)

• The psalmist fixes the course of the human life at 80 years, "for those who are strong". (Ps 90,10)

• Age of Moses when he spoke to Pharaoh. (Ex 7,7)

• After that Israelites had conquered peoples of Moab, the country of Israel had peace for 80 years. (Jg 3,30)

• In the Koran, chapter XXIV verse 4, it is written: "And those who accuse free women then do not bring four witnesses, flog them, (giving) eighty stripes, and do not admit any evidence from them ever;"

• A Buddha has to present, in addition to the 32 characteristic virtues, 80 secondary signs of beauty, according to the Lalita Vistara.

• The 80 advisers of Boudhha.

• The number 80 is used 16 times in the Bible.

• The number 80 is used 2 times in the Koran. (Koran XVIII,59 and XXIV,4)

• The words apostle, Gospel and knowledge are used 80 times in the Bible.

This site is making reference to numerology, not biblical reference. Numerology beliefs aren’t based upon anything but Christianity. Mostly New Age or occultism. Go to another site for scriptures of biblical meanings. You will find the number eight or 80s is the number of new beginnings all throughout Scripture. Like all things good, Satan perverts…

Symbolism of 80 regarding a 9x9 matrix

80 is significant because that is the space around the centre of a 9x9 matrix. A 9x9 matrix is obviously 81 and the centre being the stone 41 or 1. You could wonder that it is 40.5 (but pythagoras already struggled over that for you). Either way everything revolves around the '1', that everything being 81 in this case. If you make a magic square with 1-81 you'll get 369. Thus for example Buddha (1) had 80 advisers.
You will find the same significande for example with the numbers 56 and 25 they revolve around the same concept of nine. It's like the 8 governing the 1 in Greek mythology. 8+1=9 The council of nine.

80 is to me like the number 23 is to Jim Carrey. When i die it will be on my 80th birthday. I will take like 80 heart attacks and be reccesitated 80 times and 80 people will show up at my funeral i seriously see this number everywhere

The normal attribution to The Tower is Peh, Tzaddi is the Star, unless you switch it with the Emperor as was said in the Book of the Law.. but just saying.
